About Me
Tessa Brancato is a Denver-based photographer who was born and raised in Parker, Colorado. She first developed a passion for photography her freshman year of high school after taking her first photography class and hasn’t put down the camera since. While attending high school, she received the Visual Art Student of the Year in 2021, which amplified her love for the art form. After graduating from Legend High School in 2022, she attended the University of Colorado Denver, where she majored in Fine Arts with a photography emphasis.
While attending The University of Colorado Denver, she was able to experiment with all different types of photography. She has experience shooting and developing both black & white and color film, alternative process such as cyanotypes, Van Dyke browns, lumen prints, chemigrams, anthotypes, salted paper prints, and more. While experimenting with alternative and historic processes is something that she loves to explore, she is most drawn to digital photography and some work in film. Outside of school, she primarily focuses on portraits and concert photography. She works as a photographer for Post Concert Depression Magazine and Local Focus Magazine.
Tessa does not have one specific style; she finds love in being creative and is open to all types of work. While she loves creating work for people, she also explores introspective topics about climate change, the human experience, and self-identity. She is open to portrait sessions, commissions, and exhibitions.
